Capture One provides locally running desktop and mobile applications that are part of the Capture One Studio and Studio for Teams products – Capture One is here in a role of a data controller and does not process personal data on behalf of the customer. According to Capture One’s Privacy Policy, this may include usage data (e.g. how users interact with the software), device and system information, product performance, email address and account identifiers for authentication purposes, etc. However, when the customer decides to use certain cloud-based features - Capture One Live (COL) & Cloud File Transfer (CFT), ) and assists the Customer with contacting and whitelisting users that should get access to Capture One products, Capture One becomes a data processor in respect to personal data processed via these functionalities. Capture One Live (COL): cloud-based application enabling photographers to share photos with other people via the internet, so that they can access, rate them and comment on them remotely. Cloud File Transfer (CFT): adds certain features to the Capture One mobile products, including: •uploading of images and their adjustments from Capture One Mobile Apps to the cloud; and •importing those images and their adjustments from the cloud into the Capture One Pro desktop software.
