SingleStore
SingleStoreDB is a real-time distributed Structured Query
Language (SQL) database. Aimed at rapid ingest
and fast analytics performance the product can meet a variety
of different use cases and is more than just
a data warehouse. The product is delivered both as a
traditional on-premise offering and also as a managed
service offering dubbed SingleStore Helios. SingleStore
Helios has two distinct flavors: the “traditional”
Helios offering where SingleStore fully manages the service
on behalf of the customers (a true DBaaS
offering) and a hybrid approach, dubbed SingleStore Helios
BYOC, where data sovereignty sits with the
customer, meaning that customers with stricter data governance requirements can host their data on their
own cloud environment while still benefiting from the shared
management, troubleshooting, monitoring
services and features of SingleStore’s managed service
platform.
