Gearset is a DevOps application which allows Salesforce teams to view, modify, deploy and track changes to Salesforce configuration metadata and record data. Gearset is an API-only app. Gearset communicates with Salesforce using the standard Salesforce APIs, such as the Metadata API. Users access Gearset through a web browser. Using Gearset does not install any managed packages into your Salesforce environments nor require any separate software installation. Gearset does not require access to any internal corporate networks beyond Salesforce and connected third-party systems.
